A: This is the name I use for my Youtube and Photobucket account, where I also upload them. I swear I'm not stealing anybody else's artwork!

Q: Wow, you're really obsessed with Phantom of the Opera...
A: Yes, I know. I admit it, loud and proud! I adore the movie and musical with all my heart, I think it's extremely beautiful and well done. Anybody who happens to hate it...well, just be civil to me, and I'll be civil to you, and we'll all get along. If you couldn't care less about musicals, there's plenty of other stuff to talk about in the world. ^_^

I'm just going to give it to you straight: I had auditions for the school musical today, and the stakes were higher than in previous years because there was a large increase in the number of people auditioning. So I was supposed to be prepared like no other person has been prepared before, right?

Right.



WRONG.

I had a COMPLETE mind freeze when I was doing my second song during the audition and forgot a huge part of the lyrics. And not only that, it happened TWICE in a row. Which, in my book, dashes any and all hopes for a non-ensemble part this year (let's just say that the drama teacher at my school seems to show favoritism towards the juniors and seniors).

And, umm, yeah. It just really sucked, even though I had it perfectly the night before.

I couldn't wait to get out of the auditorium when I was done...and this kind of makes me want to crawl into a hole and die of shame so I won't have to look my chorus teacher in the eye tomorrow, or Ms. Drama Teacher, for that matter.
